What is the procedure for CLARIC treatment at our site?
Here is the general procedure for a high volume treatment scenario:
Treating waterway / dredging sludge: First, dig three 10㎥ pits on your site. The hole surfaces can be covered with metal sheets to retain soil. Load sludge into the first hole, and add the blended chemical while stirring well with heavy machinery. Next repeat the process with 2 more loads in the second and third holes. By the time you finish stirring the third hole, it should take around a half-hour until the first hole is done. Then, scoop out the sludge from the first hole with a backhoe and load it onto the truck to transfer to a designated drying location. Once sludge becomes solid, it won’t dissolve again even in rain, so it may be piled up anywhere for drying. This makes high volume treatment very easy. We have recorded up to 5000 tons of sludge treated in a single day with this method.
